Switzerland is the home of the Star Sailors League, known for the qualification series, which leads to the SSL Gold Cup. The Star Sailors League has made its home here, turning a lakeside setting into a proving ground for sailors from all over the world.
The country located in the middle of Europe is famous not only for the SSL but also for exceptional chocolate, wine, cheese, and lakes. The host nation, SSL Team Switzerland “Helvetic Lakers, has experienced sailors in the team, even though the country is landlocked.
