14 days to go until the SSL Gold Cup Final Series and just 7 days until the final Pan-American Qualifiers! The road to Rio is entering its most exciting stage, with teams already arriving in Brazil and preparing for the decisive races.
Summer has officially settled in Rio de Janeiro. The sun is shining, the atmosphere is building, and teams are making the most of their training sessions on the water ahead of the upcoming competition. We can’t wait to welcome all the crews and see them go head-to-head in one of the final battles for a place in the SSL Gold Cup Final Series.
Taking place from 12–15 November, the Pan-American Qualifiers will bring together eight nations divided into two groups of four. Group H will feature Uruguay, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Antigua and Barbuda, while Group I will see Bermuda, Mexico, Cuba and El Salvador competing for their place in the Final Series.
With qualification spots on the line and every race counting, the excitement is reaching its peak. The final countdown is on, Rio is ready, and the road to the SSL Gold Cup is almost complete.
