It feels like only yesterday that the first teams were arriving for training, the qualifiers were getting underway and the SSL Gold Cup journey was beginning to take shape. Now, with just 100 days to go, the Final Series in Brazil is already on the horizon.
This November, 40 nations will come together in Rio de Janeiro for the biggest stage of the SSL Gold Cup. The competition will begin from the 1/32 round, with teams going head-to-head on the waters of Rio in the ultimate battle between sailing nations.
Months of trainings, qualification events and preparation will all come down to this. New nations have earned their place, experienced teams are returning, and the match board is taking its final shape.
